Yos this year will be different from before, as the Turkish Education Directorate announced that a unified YOS exam will be held under the supervision of ÖSYM, a government institution concerned with providing local exams for Turkish and foreign students.  Where, starting from this year, students wishing to study in one of the following branches will have to pass this exam

 Faculty of  Medicine

 Faculty of Dentistry

 faculty of Pharmacy

 Faculty of Law

 Faculty of Education

Faculty of Engineering

 The marks for each branch will be determined later

 This decision also includes private and public universities

 As for the rest of the branches, it is possible to enter  them through this exam, in addition to the SAT or secondary certificates

 Students registered in high school and who have obtained it can also enter this exam for the current year
